The Rheem RTHP017-1 provides 17.4kW heating capacity with a power input of 3.3kW and a COP of 5.4. Designed for residential pool applications, the unit operates on single-phase 240V power with 21.3 full load amps and requires a 25A circuit breaker. Water flow rate is 2.8L/s with 40mm connections. Dimensions are 1007 × 650 × 1087 mm and weight is 90kg.

The total package of intelligence and efficiency

All Rheem Thermal pool heat pump now includes the Rheem IQ® advanced intelligent controller. The heater is intuitive and has the
ability to manipulate both its run hours and the pool temperature by time-of-day and day-of-the-week. This in turn helps to minimise
heating costs, with an inbuilt understanding of the structure of Australian-market electricity pricing.
Rheem Thermal heat pumps are also provided ready for plug-and-play connection of the new Aquatek Wifi pool control system and
the Rheem IQ® Link DPi digital pump interface controllers, maximising the overall energy efficiency of the total pool heating system,
including both the water flow pump and chlorinator.
